When the tip glows red and the pen beeps, it indicates the presence of voltage. The live wire detector can automatically identify the live or neutral wire, making it an ideal tool for breakpoint testing and a handy circuit tester for electricians and homeowners.

The meter's Dual Range functionality allows it to detect both standard and low voltage (12-1000V AC / 70-1000V AC), enabling more sensitive and flexible measurements. By pressing the S button, you can adjust the sensitivity and adapt the low range for use with doorbells, thermostats, irrigation wiring, and other low-voltage applications. The NCV sensor automatically recognizes the voltage and displays it on the bar graph, providing a more intuitive percentage value to represent the voltage signal intensity.

Safety is a top priority with this device. It is equipped with multiple alarm systems, including sound and light indicators. When voltage is detected, the tip will glow red and emit a beep. The higher the sensed voltage or the closer the meter is to the voltage source, the higher the beep frequency and the larger the percentage value displayed. Additionally, the screen will change color to indicate the voltage level - red for high voltage and live wire detection, and green for low voltage and null wire detection.
