The MESTEK True RMS 6000 Counts Digital CLAMP METER is designed to be safely and accurately used by both professionals and weekend DIY enthusiasts. It is suitable for commercial and household electrical problems, accurately measuring AC/DC Voltage, AC/DC Current, Frequency, Resistance, Capacitance, and providing NCV Detection, Flashlight, Diode and Audible Continuity Testing.

With a 600A AC/DC current measurement range and 600V AC/DC voltage measurement range, the clamp meter also features Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) detection, Backlit LCD display, Flashlight, Data Hold function, Autoranging, and CAT III 600V, Double insulation protection. It can be safely used on dangerous live conductors.

The jaws of the clamp meter can be opened up to 35mm (1.37 inch), suitable for various wire measurements, making it easy to measure current and voltage. It can also accurately measure resistance, diode, and continuity, making it a versatile tool for use in laboratories, factories, and homes.

The MESTEK CM83E Clamp Meter can quickly and accurately measure AC/DC Voltage and AC/DC Current using the test leads. It also features a Diode Tester, with a measuring range of 0.15V~2.5V and an accuracy of 0.001V. The "HOLD" function can "freeze" the readings, allowing you to record them for later use.

To save power, the instrument will automatically enter standby mode after being idle for more than 10 minutes. When the low battery indicator appears on the LCD, it means the batteries need to be changed. The ZERO function can be used to ensure the accuracy of the measured data by clearing the base number caused by electromagnetic interference.
